EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
Improving Strength
Our fully accredited exercise physiologists use evidence-informed exercise interventions to improve strength, balance, coordination and core stability - building the foundations for better day-to-day function.
By developing gross motor skills (like balance, posture and whole-body strength), many clients also find it easier to build skills that rely on stability and control - including fine motor skills used for tasks such as handwriting.
If you’ve seen one of our occupational therapists, they may recommend working with an exercise physiologist as part of your care plan to support:
strength and endurance
balance and coordination
gross motor development
confidence with movement and everyday activities
Yogalates
We also offer a Yogalates-style program designed to support attention and concentration, self-regulation, balance, strength and coordination in a fun, structured way.
