Based in Orange, Central West NSW, Total Health Orange is a professional allied health clinic offering high-quality occupational therapy and exercise physiology services to clients of all ages.
Our team includes experienced accredited occupational therapists, exercise physiologists and therapy assistants.
We are passionate about working collaboratively with our clients, their families, other health practitioners and caregivers involved in their care, to establish goals that are relevant and achievable.
We support each client to reach their potential and always ensure their goals remain the priority of our therapy.
In addition, all our therapies are backed by the latest research and we continuously enhance our knowledge to ensure the best possible outcomes for our clients, with access to the best therapy practices available.
Role of OT: Our occupational therapists will complete your initial appointment and work with you to establish goals that are meaningful to you. They will then discuss if it is recommended for you to continue therapy with an occupational therapist or if they feel it is appropriate for you to work with one of our exercise physiologists or therapy assistants. If they do refer you onto another team member, they will remain active in your care, complete regular reviews and update goals as required.
Role of Exercise Physiologist: If your goals are related to strength, balance, or coordination, you may benefit from a series of sessions with a exercise physiologist. They will work closely as part of your treatment team to assist you to reach your goals.
Role of Therapy Assistant: A therapy assistant works under close supervision of our occupational therapists. They will deliver the therapy to work towards the goals established with the occupational therapist. A therapy assistant can offer a cost effective option to therapy. They have greater flexibility on where they complete therapy and can offer more varied appointment times.
