EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY

IMPROVING STRENGTH

Our fully accredited exercise physiologists use a range of exercise interventions to improve physical strength and coordination. Interventions include increasing core strength, balance, coordination and strength of all muscles to increase function. These skills are essential to perform day to day activities and are a necessary foundation for improving fine motor skills, such as handwriting.

Once you have seen one of our occupational therapist’s, they may refer you to one of our exercise physiologists, to assist you to improve your strength, balance, coordination and gross motor skills.

Our exercise physiologists also offer a ‘yogalates’ style course to assist with improving attention, concentration, regulation, balance, strength and coordination.
